Realities of Aging Public Education Presentation by Tom Doody

This presentation will be about the realities of having more limitations and increased vulnerability as we age. Some vulnerabilities are inherent in the aging process while others come from the attitudes and actions of others toward older people. Loneliness, isolation and boredom are not not built into aging, but the response of others often brings these realities into the lives of elders. The presence of caring, conscious and committed supporters is crucial for us all, and is especially important for anyone whose capacity to manage life challenges is decreased.
