About the Event
We are looking forward to our annual Walk-a-Thon that is coming up on May 17th at 10:30 a.m. at the Cutthroat Brook Tree Farm, 586 Briggs Rd. in Athol. We are still accepting sponsorships for the event and we encourage supporters and their families and friends to come out to walk. Sturdy shoes for walking the trails is highly recommended!
Susie will have maps of the trails and can help make suggestions depending on what difficulty and length participants are looking for. There will be a "Story Walk" set up with the story "Polly Gone", authored by NQCA advocate Sylvia Wetherby, who also plans to be at the event. Attendees are also encouraged to visit The Triple Oak, recently featured on the first episode of the NBC show, "The Americas".
There will be door prizes and raffles. Weather permitting, we plan to have some outdoor games and a picnic at…
